UEC BMX European Cup Canceled

In a previously published news item we already informed you that The European BMX Cup, the World Cup competitions and the Framed Festival at Papendal cannot take place due to the current corona crisis. The UEC European Cup would take place on April 25 and 26, followed by the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup and the Framed Festival from May 1 to 3, 2020. The tightened measures announced on March 23 show that all events with a permit and notification obligation are prohibited until 1 June 2020.

Looking at the current situation, all ticket buyers who have bought a ticket for the UEC BMX European Cup, Framed Festival, UCI BMX Supercross World Cup and the Papendal Challenge Cup will get their money back. All buyers will be informed in a personal email about the procedure.

For both the European Cup and the World Cup, Papendal is open to examine, together with the UEC and the UCI, whether these events could still take place at a later time this year. However, given the circumstances, no statements can be made at this time.
